touring the backyard and the unfolding of the workspace.
I upcycle primarily agricultural metal. to me, it is not junk or scrap, it is eye candy with gorgeous lines. there is history in the metal, settler history, settler privilege, I acknowledge. It is the history of decades of my family and province living on Treaty land. The metal shows signs of wear, stress and fatigue. Kind of like we all are living now.
playing with used items, and seeing them in a different light is part of my creative works.
hope you enjoy the strange little tour.
