Saskatoon is host to SWAG, Saskatchewan Wearable Art Gala. This year I have been working on a potential entry for the Gala. My entry will be a kimono’ish article. The base of the piece is a shop coat and bib coveralls (slightly used), recycled blue jeans, along with recycled acrylic paintings (ripped and cut up). Attachment/ affixing is with a treddle sewing machine, hand sewing, hot glue, adhesive glue, metal rivets (with washers), a button.

As I write this post, the article is still in progress (close!). Here are some pics of the progress. I’ll post again next month with an update 🙂
