Hey,
I am continuing to develop my lamps, metal lamps. As with all of my metal work, I am calling them the Prairie Talismans collection. The meaning for me is referencing the metal, the history of place and time and then of the space they take up. Currently, I am in the process of putting together a proposal for a local gallery to show 10 of my lamps.
In my lamp journey, I have gone the route of getting my lamps certified. They now have a label of certification by a nationally accredited electrician. I just have to figure out how to make a metal label for each lamp. A mark or signature label. This metal label is a work in progress right now.
Finished the gallery proposal, but looking at the pics, it is a bit of a let down. Weird how what I see and feel with having the lamp in front of me is drastically different then what a picture conveys. I should say, what my picture conveys. Big sigh and hope for a positive response from someone that can read between the lines of ambiguity in the photo’s.
